UFC 279 is a Pay-Per-View card that we have mixed feelings about. It’s true that the two headlining fights on the main card are in the welterweight division and have a couple of our favourite fighters. The question is are these Hall of Fame legends past their best and now endangering their post-fight health and longevity. The drama will all unfold he main event of the night features Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev vs Nate DiazAlso on the Main Card is the other welterweight . The rest of the card is solid, featuring Kevin Holland vs Daniel Rodriguez in an interesting catchweight fight. A few more of our favourites, Johnny Walker, Ion Cutelaba and Chris Barnett will be fighting on the night as well. Here’s how UFC 279’s card stands right now:
